Shanmugam, G., President & Founder. Prof. G. Shanmugam is retired Professor of Biochemistry, from Madurai Kamaraj University. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry and is a renowned cancer research scientist with 3 decades of experience in cancer research, which includes 9 years of tumor virology research in the U.S.A. He is a well known Professor and Fellow of prestigious science academies.

Pari, S., Director, IT. Has over 18 years of software engineering and IT consulting experience. Has worked in some of the leading MNC’s in the USA, in areas ranging from telecom, e-learning, healthcare, defense, hospitality, and finance. He is currently a freelance/independent consultant with specialty in embedded systems. He also has special interests in the indigenous spiritual traditions and sciences.

Ashish Tonse, Director of Business Development. Has over 8 years of experience in software engineering, IT consulting, and business process re-engineering. He has worked in the areas of telecom, e-learning, international aid (providing IT training with USAID in Eastern Europe), and the US Defense Intelligence community. He is currently running a business in the Washington, DC area serving the DC government and also private clients around the United States with Web 2.0 and connected mobile device development.

Volunteer Faculty: we also have volunteer faculty of 2-3 students (mostly post-graduate or PhD students) from various disciplines who contribute to Oncophyta. In addition to contributing their time and efforts, they obtain valuable experience from the training, equipment, and techniques at Oncophyta.
